Greetings -
Some of the best professional education is filled with “case studies” or real life situations you can analyze and from which you can learn for your future benefit.
The ToPS Blog this week contains a financial arrangements case study from which you are invited to learn. We invite your comments and insights as well. Go to www.TotalPatientService.BlogSpot.com to read, learn, and comment.
Speaking of financial arrangements, you know that old rule that the doctor should never quote the fee? Well, I am not a doctor, but as the leader of the organization, I probably qualify. Someone asked me the other day on a public internet forum what our seminar tuition was and I under quoted! Does that sound typical or what? So here is what I am willing to do. Since I made my own bed, I am going to sleep in it…for the next couple of weeks! Call our team today for details and when you enroll within the next two weeks for any one of our courses, you will enjoy the best tuition value in the industry! If you have ever even remotely considered attending our Total Immersion or Leading a ToPS Team courses, now is the time to jump in. It is not going to get any better than this! Let our team know you are interested in taking advantage of Steve’s blunder by calling 1-877-399-8677 or by e-mailing Answers@TotalPatientService.com.
Have a great week and watch what you say!
Morning Huddle Action Thoughts
January 26 Thought: Words spoken on the road are heard by snakes in the grass. Mo Yan
Action: Make it a rule never to make a critical remark about an associate or patient in private that you would not be willing to make face-to-face. You never know who the “snake in the grass” might be.
January 27 Thought: Remember, people will judge you by your actions, not your intentions. You may have a heart of gold–but so does a hard-boiled egg. Anonymous
Action: With this as a reminder, resolve to act today in a way that reflects your best intentions. Don’t let anyone else’s actions irritate you into changing your mind-set.
January 28 Thought: I like to listen. I have learned a great deal from listening carefully. Most people never listen. Ernest Hemingway
Action: We can’t be reminded too many times–ask frequently and listen consistently. Remember the “two ears and one mouth” adage and be sure you listen twice as much as you talk–maybe four times more would be an even better ratio.
January 29 Thought: Many strokes, though with a little axe, hew down and fell the hardest timber’s oak. William Shakespeare
Action: Find something to put under the first stroke of the figurative axe today–a habit that needs changing, a job that is waiting for the right time to start, a good turn you intend to do “some day.”
January 30 Thought: A well-spent day brings happy sleep. Leonardo da Vinci
Action: With an author like da Vinci it shouldn’t be difficult to “get the picture.” Even if you are not focused on sleep, giving your whole self to the work at hand will surely bring you very desirable peace of mind.
Make It Happen!
