Greetings -
If you have ever been on a quest for that elusive“silver bullet”of trying to find that “one thing” that is going to get you the success you are looking for, consider this foundational approach that might yield better results: go on a quest for “Natural Laws”or truths upon witch all success is based. If you and your practice are firmly grounded in the right truths, then the ideas and applications will be found everywhere and you won’t be lured into the trap of falling for the latest “trick” or “quick fix” that promises to solve all of your problems. Natural laws are enduring and can be found in any idea that works.
Check out 3 Natural Laws that answer this question: What is a good case acceptance result? Log onto the Total Patient Service Blog at www.TotalPatientService.BlogSpot.com. They are 3 laws to live by and practice by every day.
Have a great week as you conclude each of your morning huddle’s with one of the action thoughts below.
Morning Huddle Action Thoughts
March 30 Thought: The best index of a person’s character is how he treats people who can’t do him any good. Abigail Van Buren
Action: Community service builds this kind of character. Review your schedule and see if you could help some people who can’t help themselves.
March 31 Thought: New knowledge is of little value if it doesn’t change us and make us better individuals. Hyrum W. Smith
Action: Find some new knowledge today and act upon it so you will receive all of these benefits.
April 1 Thought: Fear of the unknown can result in clinging to status quo behaviors no matter how bad they are. Stan Goldberg, Ph.D.
Action: Think of something you would like to change about yourself. Think of all of the possible consequences of both the status quo and the desired behavior. If there are more positive results associated with the new behavior, you will no longer need to fear the unknown. Make the change.
April 2 Thought: The expression of appreciation goes a long way towards building patient loyalty. Steve Anderson
Action: Review the list of patients for the day. Think of an appropriate expression of appreciation that can be given to each one. Deliver it with a smile.
April 3 Thought: Promptness is the soul of business. Chesterfield
Action: Think of something you can do to improve scheduling so as to reduce patient waiting and/or make necessary waits more pleasant and acceptable.
