Greetings -
Morning Huddle Action Thoughts
April 6 Thought: All change is not growth; all movement is not forward. Ellen Glasgow
Action: See if there is anything you are doing only because you have always done it that way and perhaps not because it is the best way to do it. Review all routine tasks and be sure all activity is also productivity.
April 7 Thought: Talking and listening is like a traffic intersection. The most important part is to know when to stop and when to go.
Action: Listen attentively today to ideas from each other and thoughts from your patients.
April 8 Thought: There is no security on this earth; there is only opportunity. Douglas MacArthur
Action: Take note of the patients who are coming in today. Note which ones are in the top 20% in value to your practice. Ask each one who he/she knows who may be looking for a happy dental home.
April 9 Thought: As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew. Abraham Lincoln
Action: Act today as if this were your first day on the job. See what new thing you can discover that will make you more efficient and effective and give the practice a boost.
April 10 Thought: Spread cheer not fear. Steve Anderson
Action: Make it a rule that ideas intended to be constructive are never ridiculed regardless of their ultimate value or usefulness. Only when fear has been eliminated and replaced by an atmosphere of harmony and trust can the most creative ideas flourish. One way to create a harmonious atmosphere is to treat co-workers with the same respect and attention you would your most valued patient.
