Greetings -
We just finished our ToPS “Total Immersion” course in Buffalo, NY with a great mix of teams we have worked with for years and new teams that have just embarked on the ToPS journey. What do the new teams see that motivates them to come in the first place? A vision of something that is better; of future results that are possible with the implementation of ideas, techniques and system that are proven to work. Why do veteran teams keep coming back? Because of the results they keep getting and the realization that there is just as much to learn about the people skills and management side of dentistry as there is the clinical side. It is a never-ending journey of improvement.
One place where that improvement can continually improve is the balance between the “gas peddle” and the “breaks.” These two personal case acceptance ingredients are essential to any team’s short and long-term success. How much of it do you have? How much of it do you need? Find out by reading this week’s ToPS Blog at www.TotalPatientService.BlogSpot.com.
No matter where you are on the practice development journey, join us as one of our ToPS Total Immersion or Leading ToPS Team courses. You will notice the improvement in yourself and the results in your practice will show it!
Have a great week as you climb the next rung of success to the ToP!
Morning Huddle Action Thoughts
April 20 Thought: The key to change is to let go of fear. Rosanne Cash
Action: Challenge a fear. Suggest a change of something now that needs changing–a habit, a routine, a goal.
April 21 Thought: We are frightened of what makes us different. Anne Rice
Action: Everyone is gifted with a thing or things he/she is able to do with greater skill and ease than most other people. Glory in this. Discover the things for which you have a superior aptitude and make the best use of them. Congratulate others for their superior skills and don’t fret about not having those specific skills yourself.
April 22 Thought: Sometimes we all have to do things we don’t want to do. Audrey Penn
Action: If you have one of these things on your to-do list, do it with pride and a sense of accomplishment that will make it almost a pleasure.
April 23 Thought: The human spirit lives on creativity and dies in conformity and routine. Vilayat Inaat Khan
Action: Today is the day to step up your commitment and energy to ASK more patients to accept treatment. Don’t let yesterday’s results dictate today’s level of performance. Kick it up a notch and get our of your normal routine.
April 24 Thought: Feelings of gratitude release positive endorphins throughout the body, contributing to a good health. Sharon Hoffman
Action: Give your health a boost. Make a list of all of the things you are grateful for. Start with the ability to write the list. Keep the list handy to read the next time you have one of those down days.
