One leadership confession from America’s most successful investor my surprise you as well as give you some hope for your own leadership challenges. Have a great week as you use each of the Morning Huddle Action Thoughts below each day to kick off your day and get it started off right!
Morning Huddle Action Thoughts
May 4 Thought: The only competition worthy of a wise man is with himself. Washington Alston
Action: Think of one thing in which you are less than perfect and concentrate on improving it starting today.
May 5 Thought: Stay on every patient’s mental network. That’s CBS. Steve Anderson
Action: Talk about your CBS–Compelling Benefit Statement during the morning huddle. It is what there is in your practice that is unique and compelling–something that distinguishes it from all others. Decide what this is and see that every patient becomes aware of it.
May 6 Thought: The worth of a book is measured by what you can carry away from it. James Bryce
Action: Find a source of continuing education and resolve that you will learn something new every day from a book, magazine, newsletter, or conversation with someone who will share with you something you didn’t previously know.
May 7 Thought: The greatest fault, I should say, is to be conscious of none. Carlyle
Action: Be a constructive fault finder with yourself as the object. Think of something you can do better today than you have ever done it before.
May 8 Thought: Together Everyone Accomplishes More.
Action: T.E.A.M. Put these letters in a prominent place where they will be seen many times every day to remind team members to do at least one thing each day for another team member that will promote success in his job. This will be a constant reminder that Together Everyone Accomplishes More.
