Morning Huddle Action Thoughts

 June 22
 Thought:  Patients subscribe to the dentist and the dental team first and then to the dental services.

Action:  Be the kind of team and team member today that loves serving patients with enthusiasm!  That will do more to attract new patients, increase case acceptance and confirm the wisdom of your patients’ choice than anything else you can do.

June 23
Thought:  Better to do it than wish it done. Thackeray

Action:  If you see a job undone that you can do, give a hand and do it even though the responsibility for it belongs to someone else.  The accomplishment will give you a lift and hopefully it will give a lift to the one who would otherwise have had to do it without your help.

June 24
 Thought:  If you try to be everything to everybody, you will end up being nothing to nobody.

Action:  Target your market.  Identify your ideal patient and seek continuously to acquire more of this type.  One good resource will always be your existing patients.  Every day ask 10 patients whom they know who needs a good dentist.  They will probably have friends just like themselves.

June 25
 Thought:  Never do today what you can put off tomorrow. W. B. Rands

Action:  Note that Rands says "put off tomorrow," not "until tomorrow."  Identify the things you keep putting off perhaps because they could be eliminated entirely.  That will provide more time for those things that really need to be done today.


June 26
Thought:  Prospective patients of the upper 20% class can be found in many obvious places.

Action:  Think about where you can connect and invite new patients to your practice through your naturally existing relationships.   Think about extended family; new or old neighbors; members of associations you belong to including church, PTA, gym, golf course, tennis courts, health club, bowling, barber shop, beauty salon, etc.
