ToPS Annual Planning Round Table:

December 4, 2009
Dallas, Texas

Greetings -

It’s halftime!  We’ve just passed the half way mark in the calendar year.  So how are you doing?

We are looking forward to meeting later this week with ToPS Teams who will be coming in for the ToPS “Halftime” Round Table meeting where we will update, regroup and strategize for the “second half.”  Whether you will be joining us or not, make sure to take some “time out” this week to see where you are as a team compared to where you wanted to be at “halftime.”

For some FREE ToPS “Halftime Chalf-talk” questions to ask yourself and your team to help you win the game this year, just give us a call at 1-877-399-8677 or e-mail us at Answers@TotalPatientService.com     Make sure to ask for the ToPS “Halftime Chalk-talk” questions.  It comes with our compliments.  All you have to do is ASK!

Also, don’t miss a “halftime” tip in this week’s ToPS Blog at www.totalpatientservice.blogspot.com

Have a great week as you move forward in the “second half.”

Morning Huddle Action Thoughts

July 6
Thought:  Social scientists tell us that the average number of people each person is likely to interact with and influence directly or indirectly is about 250.

Action:  Think about your circle of influence of 250 people every time you interact with a patient, meet someone new, or just talk to a friend.  That will expand your circle of influence and will reflect positively on the practice.

July 7
Thought:  Focus on the positive, it won’t leave you any time to accentuate the negative.

Action:  When presenting treatment today, talk first about the big picture. Explain all of the benefits, and how they can make the patient healthier and more attractive.  The benefits of treatment should always outweigh the investment.

July 8
Thought:  One of the secrets of life is to make steppingstones out of stumbling blocks.
Jack Penn

Action:  Identify something in your daily routine that doesn’t work as well as it should.  The identifying process is the first positive step towards doing it better.  Take another positive step by asking your dental team members for their suggested solutions.

July 9
Thought:  I tell you and you forget.  I show you and you remember.  I involve you and you understand.   Eric Butterworth

Action:  Make an extra effort today to involve every patient in making the decision about treatment.   Show, tell, ask, suggest and get patients to volunteer the solutions.

July 10
Thought:  It’s easier to explain price one time than it is to apologize for quality forever.
Zig Ziglar

Action:  Be confident in quoting fees to your patients today knowing you are worth it.  Resist the temptation to discount your fees thinking that the patient will say “yes” just because it is cheaper. The key to a successful practice is to deliver high quality service and charge a fair price.
