Greetings -

The biggest obstacle to greater practice success might be something you have never suspected!  Don’t miss this week’s ToPS Blog at www.TotalPatientService.BlogSpot.com where you will discover one of dentistry’s biggest misconceptions that does a tremendous amount of damage to dentists and the dental practice.  You never know, you just might have become a victim yourself!

In order to meet the demand, we added an additional ToPS Total Immersion course this fall on October 15-16, 2009 in Dallas, Texas.  Call our team for location and registration details at 1-877-399-8677.

Have a great week as you take you practice toward the ToP!

Morning Huddle Action Thoughts

August 3
Thought:  It is 80% easier to “sell” an existing customer than it is to create a new one!

Action:  Review the list of inactive patients–those who have not been served for more than a year, those who have not completed a planned treatment schedule, those who have postponed an appointment and never rescheduled.  Call them and ASK if there is any good reason why they should not get back on track with their dental health care.

August 4
Thought:  Great works are performed not by strength, but by perseverance.  Samuel Johnson

Action:  Stay with today’s effort continuously all year long.

August 5
Thought:  The best way to get rid of your duties is to discharge them.

Action:  If you have some job or duty you intend to attend to “when there is time,” make time for it today and get it off your list.

August 6
Thought:  What really scares me most, more than nukes or cancer, is a man or woman without a sense of humor.  Johnathan Winters

Action:  Think of something cheerful and of good humor that you can use to cheer up patients today.

August 7
Thought:  A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but a person with a certain set of attitudes.  Hugh Downs

Action:  Take inventory.  Recount all of the things that make this a great day.  Include the joy of being able to see, hear, be in a job that improves people’s quality of life, etc. etc.
