September 7

Thought:  A sense of purpose and the opportunity to contribute to others–these are as vital to total health as are adequate nutrition and rest.  H.A.  Holle

Action:  Think about it. Your good fortune is to spend every day contributing to the health and welfare of every person who comes to the office. 

September 8

Thought:  The best ideas come from groups of people who are relaxed enough to let their imaginations soar.  

Action:  Resolve to have a resistance-free attitude in the dental office for other people’s ideas–those of team members as well as patients.  Help to generate problem-solving ideas and support the problem-solving skills of all of these people.

September 9

Thought:  When two or more minds are working in harmony, an additional mind is formed.

Action: Coordinate knowledge and effort in a spirit of harmony to multiply your effectiveness and produce richer results.

Action:  Give sympathy in the same quantity or more as the need for it is apparent. Those to whom you give it will remember it long after you have forgotten this gift that you gave.

Thought:  Most creativity is just sync-ing and linking. 

Action:  Think of one problem inthe practice that needs a solution. Link what you know with what you need to know.  That will sync the two ideas.  Share the thinks, links, and syncs with others on the dental team until you come up with a good solution.
