Morning Huddle Action Thoughts
September 21
Thought:You must have a purpose in life--a motivation, a desire, and ambition.
Action:Develop a clear vision of what you want, why you are working, the goals you want to reach. One of the great benefits of this action is that you will then know what to learn and how to respond to opportunities of various kinds. You can't be truly teachable until you know what you want to learn.
September 22
Thought:Trust is the ultimate basis for the life-long work of becoming something significant.
Action:Be sure you are honest and trustworthy, and then seek close associates who have proven they have the same characteristics. You will then be willing to accept counsel, direction, and receive a true picture of your real self.
September 23
Thought:Facts do not cease to exist just because they are ignored.Aldous Huxley
Action:The person doing a specific job or performing a function is more likely to discover deficiencies and inadequacies.Ask each to discover a system or procedure that could be improved and take action to improve it.
September 24
Thought:If time be of all things most precious, let us then be up and doing, and doing to the purpose.Benjamin Franklin.
Action:Give special attention today to staying on schedule and minimizing the reception room waiting time for all patients!
September 25
Thought:Do more than the patient expects. It is the only way to get paid for what you do.
Action: Think of the services you will provide today for the patients you will serve.Discover some extra unexpected service you can deliver to one or more of the patients that will provide a pleasant surprise. It is a good long-term investment.
