Morning Huddle Action Thoughts
December 21
Thought: One of the most effective motivational acts any person can do for another is to be an attentive listener.
Action: Keep a tally today. Count the number of times you restrain yourself from jumping in with a quick answer, solution, or suggestion before the speaker has finished explaining the problem. You will be amazed at the additional insights that will be gained. As you succeed today, try again tomorrow and the next day and keep track of your succeeding successes.
December 22
Thought: No matter what business you are in,every one in the organization needs to know why. Frances Hesselbein, President, The Drucker Foundation
Action: What is your practice purpose? Review it as a team right now! Make the commitment to each other to stay on purpose as a team all day today.
December 23
Thought: I think it is important to have fun at work–and not just at holiday time.
Ellen Jackofsky, Assistant Professor, Southern Methodist University.
Action: Remember, its only work if its not fun! Make it a point to make the day fun with each other and with patients while you stay on purpose.
December 24
Thought: All who joy would win
Must share.
Happiness was born a twin. Bryon
Action: 'Tis the day before Christmas! Be happy. Spread joy!
December 25
Thought: Have a Merry Christmas or Happy Holiday which ever you prefer or both.
Make It Happen!
