Thought:If you say, “I hardly know where to begin,” the patient or other listener may think, “Maybe you should not start at all.”
Action:Review the verbal skills you will use today.Eliminate the things that might plant a seed of doubt in the patient’s mind.Things like “To be honest with you.”“I don’t know where to begin.”“Maybe.”“Kind of.”Or any other type of Limiting Language.”Replace those things instead with language that conveys confidence and a clear recommendation.
January 22
Thought: It has been my observation that most people get ahead during the time others waste.
Henry Ford
Action:Take advantage of any non-production minute today by doing something productive that will help you and the whole practice get ahead.
