Greetings -

The most rampant disease in dentistry may not be periodontal disease, but "The Education / Income Perio Excuse” which is the subject of this week’s blog at www.TotalPatientService.BlogSpot.com

I hope you will read it with interest and introspection and then act  accordingly.

Have a great week as you work to make your practice ToPS!

Morning Huddle Action Thoughts

January 18

Thought:   A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.  Phyllis Diller

Action:  Make today another special smile day.  Smile so much you make everyone wonder what you know that they have overlooked.

January 19

Thought:  The best helping hands are the ones at the end of our sleeves.

Benjamin Franklin

Action:  Do at least one thing you are not asked to do or that is not on your job description today.  Then just watch what happens!

January 20

Thought:  Happiness is not always doing what you want to do: it is doing what you don’t want to do and being glad you did it.  Jesse Evans Smith

Action:  Choose one of the things that is your job that nobody else can do and you don’t look forward to doing.  Do it today and be glad it is done.

January 21

Thought:  If you say, “I hardly know where to begin,” the patient or other listener may think, “Maybe you should not start at all.”

Action:  Review the verbal skills you will use today.  Eliminate the things that might plant a seed of doubt in the patient’s mind.  Things like “To be honest with you.”  “I don’t know where to begin.”  “Maybe.”  “Kind of.”  Or any other type of Limiting Language.” Replace those things instead with language that conveys confidence and a clear recommendation.

January 22

Thought:  It has been my observation that most people get ahead during the time others waste.

Henry Ford

Action:  Take advantage of any non-production minute today by doing something productive that will help you and the whole practice get ahead.
