Greetings -

There is a purpose beyond the purpose OF the practice that everyone who works in the practice should consider from time-to-time.  Have you considered it?  If you have, it will make a difference in how you approach your daily work. If you haven’t, you may find you are working in the wrong direction.  Discover what it is in this week’s ToPS Blog at www.TotalPatientService.BlogSpot.com

Have a great week as you make your team ToPS!

Morning Huddle Action Thoughts

February 1

Thought:  Wanting or expecting people to think just like you do only validates you, not them.

Action:  Make a special effort today to be interested not interesting.  Listen to understand, not to agree or disagree.

February 2

Thought:  Not every thing that is important is interesting, and not every thing that is interesting is important.  Jim Birrell

Action:  Focus on the important today – your patents.  They may not always we interesting, but they are always important!

February 3

Thought:  Sometimes you are the windshield and sometimes you are the bug.  Anonymous

Action:  Keep your own “windshield” clean today by having the purpose of the practice clearly in front of you:  To create happy, paying patients…!

February 4

Thought:  The proper memory is one that knows what to remember and what to forget.

John Morley

Action:  If there is a patient on the schedule today that you are not looking forward to seeing, forget the past and give him or her a second chance.  Treat the patient like one of your best, and he or she might become one of your best.

February 5

Thought:  Wise men learn by other men’s mistakes, fools by their own.  Oscar Wilde

Action:  Create the team habit of sharing your personal mistakes and your successes with the rest of the team so everyone can learn from each other.
