Greetings -

Morning Huddle Action Thoughts

April 26

Thought:  By mutual confidence and mutual aid, great deeds are done and great discoveries made.  Homer

Action:  Do something unexpected today for a team member, a patient, a friend, or a family member.  If you discover nothing more than how good it makes you feel, it will be well worth the little extra effort that is needed.

April 27

Thought:  Wisdom is knowing what to do next; virtue is doing it. David Starr Jordan

Action:  Check on both knowing and doing today.  Check your priorities and plan to do first things first while resisting the temptation to get a dozen little things out of the way before you do the most important things.  Then do the important things.

April 28

Thought:  The path of precept is long, that of example is short and effectual.  Seneca

Action:  Be the example for the team and your patients today.  Actions speak louder than words!

April 29

Thought:  Look in the face of the person to whom you are speaking if you wish to know his real sentiments, for he can command his words more easily than his countenance.  Lord Chesterfield

Action:  This is wisdom for everyday life.  Give undivided attention to the one towhom you are speaking.  You will then show great courtesy while learning to be a mind reader.

April 30

Thought:  He who spreads an unreliable rumor shares responsibility with the one who starts it.

Richard L. Evans

Action:  Make it a point of pride.  Pass on only the positive today.  Even when talking with fellow team members, never talk ill of a patient in their presence or their absence.
