Greetings -

Morning Huddle Action Thoughts

May 17

Thought:  It is absurd for a man to wait for something to happen which he himself must do.

William Nevins

Action:  Fill yourself with satisfaction by doing what you ought to do, when you ought to do it,whether you want to or not.  NO Debate!    Do it now!

May 18

Thought:  A man is ready for consequences when he says he will do a thing he could do and does it.  Samuel Smiles

Action:  Keep your day planner by your side and record everything not in your routine that you promise to do.  Resolve that you will never again say “I forgot.”

May 19

Thought:  One of the greatest paradoxes is that nearly everyone wants to improve his circumstances, but hardly anyone wants to improve himself.  Milton Sills

Action:  You know yourself better than anyone. Choose something you will enjoy improving about yourself and make the change before someone else suggests it.

May 20

Thought:  I will speak ill of no man, not even in matters of truth; but rather excuse the faults I hear charged upon others, and upon proper occasion speak all the good I know of everybody.  Benjamin Franklin

Action:  Make it part of your character that you will not say privately about anyone anything you would not be willing to say in front of him/her.

May 21

Thought:   If you want to test your memory, try to recall what you were worrying about one year ago today. Author Unknown

Action: Reduce the number of worries you may currently have by reviewing all the disasters you previously worried about that never materialized.
